Dear Meta Llama Team,

I recently requested access to the Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct repository, but unfortunately my request was rejected. I would like to kindly ask whether my application could be reconsidered.

My intended use of the model is solely for academic research. Specifically, I am reproducing the Ardy project for research purposes and require the official Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct model to faithfully reproduce the published results. The model will only be used in a non-commercial research environment.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I would greatly appreciate it if my access request could be reviewed again.
