phonelook v2: real lived-in rooms, a LoRA for Krea 2

A small style LoRA that makes rooms look like ordinary snapshots of real homes, not staged interior renders. Beds are slept in, there are dishes in the sink, and the lamps and ceiling lights are cheap. It was trained only on people-free photos of real bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms, so it changes the room around your character and leaves the character alone.

Step 3000 was tested and not released: in mirror selfies it started adding a second person in the frame.

How to prompt

• No trigger word. It works through its weights alone; just load it.
• Strength 1.0 (1.4 for a stronger effect). Stack it after your character LoRA.
• Describe the room plainly, the way the captions were written: what's in it, the light and the time of day. For example:
  • small messy bedroom with an unmade bed and clothes on a chair, warm lamp light, at night
  • narrow kitchen with white cabinets and dishes in the sink, overhead ceiling light, at night
  • small bathroom with a white sink and a towel on the rail, overhead ceiling light
• Light phrases it knows: overhead ceiling light, warm lamp light, soft window light, daylight, camera flash photo. Time phrases: at night, during the day.
• Pairs well with lightlook (light on the body) and skinlook (skin texture).

Tested settings

Krea 2 Turbo, 8 steps, euler / simple, CFG 1.0, 1024×1280, stacked on a character LoRA, with a no-LoRA baseline on fixed seeds. The character's face and body held at step 1500.

Training

• Trainer: ai-toolkit on Krea 2 Raw, rank 16 / alpha 16, lr 1e-4, adamw8bit, 3000 steps (step 1500 released), buckets at 768 and 1024, no trigger word.
• Data: 315 people-free home-room photos (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room), chosen from 1,200 candidates. Two reviewer passes removed hotels, real-estate listings, staged rooms, filters, text and any person or reflection.
• Captions: a plain description of the room, then the light source and the time of day. They never describe quality, camera or realism.

Data source and credits

Open Images V7 (Google): Flickr photos under CC BY 2.0. The photographer, licence and Flickr link for every photo are in training_data_credits.csv. No images are included in this repo.
