๐ Zen Alta 1-3B (Phase 2 GGUF Q4_K_M)
Zen Alta is a 24-layer, ~2.8B parameter causal language model fine-tuned for high-speed, casual conversational roleplay and on-device execution. Built on top of a pruned Llama 3.2 3B foundation and aligned via 800 steps of Direct Preference Optimization (DPO).
This repository provides the quantized Q4_K_M GGUF binary (1.69 GB) for llama.cpp, Termux, and local edge deployment.
๐ญ Persona & Style Attributes
- Ultra-Casual Tone: Default lowercase, brief responses (<15 words), conversational slang.
- Anti-AI / Targeted Unlearning: Actively deflects homework, academic tasks, coding requests, and corporate disclaimers ("bro google is free", "im not writing an essay for u").
- Fast Banter: Retains witty banter without boilerplate AI safety lecturing.
โก 2ร Acceleration via Speculative Decoding
Zen Alta is engineered to run in tandem with its official 4-layer companion draft model: ZenithLLM/ZenAlta-Draft (zen-alta-draft-q4_k_m.gguf, 545 MB).
Running with Speculative Decoding in llama.cpp:
# 1. Download both models
huggingface-cli download ZenithLLM/ZenAlta-1-3B-Phase2-GGUF ZenAlta-1-3B-Pruned.Q4_K_M.gguf --local-dir .
huggingface-cli download ZenithLLM/ZenAlta-Draft zen-alta-draft-q4_k_m.gguf --local-dir .
# 2. Run paired speculative inference
./llama-cli \
-m ZenAlta-1-3B-Pruned.Q4_K_M.gguf \
-md zen-alta-draft-q4_k_m.gguf \
--draft-max 5 \
-p "<|start_header_id|>user<|end_header_id|>\n\nhey what are you doing<|eot_id|><|start_header_id|>assistant<|end_header_id|>\n\n" \
-n 128
Expected Speed: 40โ50+ tokens/sec on modern mobile and edge hardware (vs ~22 t/s without draft).
