Wake-up Call

A performance for MicroDuck Got a Talent on the MicroDuck Arena: eight ducks, five different policies, one stage, singing Are You Sleeping, Brother John? as a round.

The star, on rollers, sings the first bar alone at the back of the stage. Then it skates down past a sleeping choir, one push a bar, and each duck it reaches wakes up and comes into the round. The rest of the choir wakes on the music, one entry a bar, until all eight sing the last bar together on a C major chord. Then they fall asleep again, and the star turns to the jury and quacks.
