aura-clip

Self-hosted mirror of google/siglip-base-patch16-224 (SigLIP, Apache-2.0) used by Aura for its Pro similar-image / semantic-search feature. Mirrored and pinned to an immutable commit so first-use downloads in the app can never break if upstream changes.

SigLIP was chosen over CLIP ViT-B/32 because its model card carries no out-of-scope / non-commercial usage restriction, making it safe for a commercial, deployed image-search product.
