Any plans to fine-tune on newer model?
The new model like PaddlePaddle/PaddleOCR-VL-1.6, deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-OCR-2, and baidu/Unlimited-OCR, have the ability to output in Thai text. Their recognition accuracy is good, but enough to be desire. Any plans on fine-tuning on them?
@Wakeme We plan to release a new model by the end of this year with improved text + bounding box support and a smaller model size. Since you mentioned that the current model is already very good, we're also exploring other base models that may perform better on Thai text. BTW, you can try our current 1.5 version. Any feedback or suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated.
