Recommended layout:

backend/models/distilbert_emotion_model/ backend/models/qwen_generator_model/

Do not commit full model weights to Git without Git LFS enabled. To configure LFS:

Install Git LFS: https://git-lfs.github.com/
Run:

git lfs install git lfs track "backend/models/**" git lfs track "*.safetensors" git add .gitattributes
Add the model folders and commit.

If you prefer to keep models outside the repo, use the project-root folders distilbert_emotion_model/ and qwen_generator_model/ instead. The backend will prefer backend/models/ when present.
