About This Release
RANGER™ CONSTRUCTION INTELLIGENCE is open-sourcing the RANGER™ Rebar Count Detection Model for learning, evaluation, and non-commercial use by the Hong Kong construction industry, academic institutions, and research teams.
We believe construction technology should not stay inside isolated projects. It should become shared infrastructure. This release is intended to support the long-term development of safety, efficiency, and intelligence across Hong Kong’s construction sector.

Model Overview
The RANGER™ Rebar Count Detection Model is a YOLO-based object detection model for identifying Rebar Count in construction scenes.
It is designed with real-site imagery in mind and may be used as a starting point for research, teaching, internal testing, and non-commercial proof of concept.
