whisperkit-coreml — pinned compatibility mirror

This repository is an independent backup of the exact runtime artifacts used by MatrixApps. It is maintained by paincupid, not the original model authors.

Original authors: OpenAI and Argmax / WhisperKit. Original licenses and notices are retained. Model weights are redistributed without modification; this repository does not claim new training or conversion work.

This is a selected-runtime mirror, not a duplicate of every model in the upstream Argmax repository. Includes Base, Small, Medium, Large V3, compressed Large V3, Large V3 Turbo and the pinned OpenAI tokenizer files. Core ML model folders preserve their upstream names. Tokenizers are under tokenizers/openai/.

Integrity and intended use

provenance.json records the original fixed revisions, file sizes and SHA-256 digests. SHA256SUMS contains digests for all runtime files. Preserve those digests when configuring a downloader. The backup is complete only when every listed file is present and validated; a Git LFS pointer alone is not a model backup.

No automatic upstream synchronization is enabled. Keep the published snapshot immutable for app downloads. This mirror does not add device-performance or recognition-quality claims.
