Commercial licence enquiry for a small hosted product
Hi. We run a small workshop that benches open models on consumer cards and publishes the results with receipts at research.strata2signal.com. This week we put openjev/openjev-FP8 through a set of decision tasks we already make in production: six-way speaker attribution, a moderation gate with planted attacks, answerable-or-not on rulebook excerpts, and a grounding judge. It was the best model we've measured on the hard ones, by about 11 to 13 points over the same-size base under the same runtime, and its confidence was honest across the bins. The model card says to open a discussion for commercial use, so here it is. The product is rulesage, a rules-question service for board games, small and self-hosted, with a moderation gate and a citation check that are exactly the shape OpenJev decides well. Could you say what terms you offer for that kind of use: a flat fee, a revenue threshold, attribution-only under some size, or something else? Also whether the terms would cover the FP8 checkpoint served with vLLM on our own hardware, no API, no redistribution.
Thanks for putting the weights out. The readout-at-position-zero idea is the most useful thing we've benched this quarter, and we'd rather pay for it properly than work around it.
