Tested it on my Own monitoring Equipment for birds and fish in my area it did great hope nvidia can make it more versatile so i Can locate Dads who ran off with the milk.

We've seen many comparisons to specialized models like SAM3 and YOLO, and we want to clarify that Locate Anything 3B is designed with a different goal in mind. While those are excellent task-specific computer vision models, our focus is on building a general-purpose VLM-based location model that can handle a much wider variety of queries.
We know our model isn't perfect yet and has some shortcomings. We're dedicated to improving it continuously, and feedback like yours is incredibly helpful for that process.
