Fine-tuned from HuggingFaceTB/SmolLM3-3B on a curated, stratified 10,000-record subset of the ChatDoctor dataset spanning 17 medical domains (cardiology, neurology, respiratory, GI, orthopedics, dermatology, ENT, psychiatry, gynecology/obstetrics, urology, pediatrics, endocrinology, infectious disease, ophthalmology, dental, oncology, sexual health).

A general-purpose medical question-answering assistant: plain instruction-tuned patient-query -> doctor-style response, no RAG context slot, no domain-specific system prompt.

Intended use

General preliminary medical guidance / triage-style responses across a broad range of everyday medical complaints.

Limitations & safety

Not a diagnostic tool, not a substitute for a licensed physician, and not validated for clinical use. May produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated medical information -- always direct end-users to consult a qualified healthcare professional.
