Kromoss for Draw Things
Kromoss by lodestones, a full fine-tune of MOSS-Image, converted to Draw Things' model format. It is a drop-in replacement for Draw Things' MOSS Image SFT: same text encoder, VAE and settings.

You need one of them. 8-bit S has the format of Draw Things' "MOSS Image SFT (8-bit S)" and 8-bit that of "MOSS Image SFT"; if your Draw Things offers both MOSS variants, either works.
Install
- In Draw Things, download MOSS Image SFT (any variant) from the model list. That fetches the text encoder
(
qwen_3.5_9b_i5x.ckpt) and VAE (flux_2_vae_f16.ckpt) Kromoss uses. - Put the
.ckptyou picked in Draw Things' Models folder: the folder you chose in Draw Things' settings, or~/Library/Containers/com.liuliu.draw-things/Data/Documents/Modelsby default. - Add its entry from this repo's
custom.jsontocustom.jsonin that folder (inside the[ ]; create the file with[ ]around the entry if there is none), then restart Draw Things.
Kromoss then shows in the model list with MOSS's recommended settings.
Settings
As for MOSS Image SFT: 50 steps, Text Guidance 3, Shift 5, DDIM Trailing (flow-matching Euler, which lodestones' card recommends).
The 8-step turbo LoRAs in lodestones/Kromoss are not included.
Conversion
The weights were converted from diffusion_models/kromoss_bf16.safetensors to the tensor layout of Draw
Things' official moss_image_sft_*.ckpt files with the Draw Things engine
(draw-things-community). The 8-bit files use the engine's own quantizers with the per-layer
choices of Draw Things' MOSS 8-bit and 8-bit S files. Every converted file has the same 524 tensors as Draw
Things' MOSS Image SFT, each with a cosine similarity of at least 0.97 to it.
