Request for Manual Review / Reset of Rejected SAM 3 Access
Dear SAM 3 Team,
My access request to the SAM 3 repository was recently rejected, and I would like to respectfully request a manual review or a reset of my application so that I can resubmit it if necessary.
I am a graduate student at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).
My intended use of SAM 3 is for personal academic learning and experimentation. I am currently studying computer vision and deep learning, and I would like to learn how SAM 3 works as a foundation model for image segmentation. This will also help me prepare for my future study of deep learning models for medical image analysis and medical image segmentation.
My intended use is strictly non-commercial and educational. I plan to use the model locally for learning and experimentation. I will not redistribute the SAM 3 model weights or provide unauthorized access to the model.
I understand that SAM 3 is a gated model and I will comply with the applicable SAM 3 license, acceptable-use requirements, and other relevant policies.
If my previous application was rejected because some information was incomplete or incorrect, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to correct it. I am also happy to provide additional information about my academic affiliation or intended use if required.
Could you please reconsider my application or reset the rejected status so that I can submit the request again?
