trains_v1 (MOSS-Image LoRA)
North American diesel-era freight railroading, as railfan photos. Trained on 4,988 Wikimedia Commons photos (CC BY / BY-SA / CC0 / PD / GFDL) in 46 classes: 33 locomotive models (EMD F7 to SD70ACe, GE U23B to ET44AC, ALCO RS-3, MLW RS-18) and 13 kinds of rolling stock (boxcar, covered hopper, tank car, well car, caboose, ...), across Class I, regional and fallen-flag railroads.
Base + trains_v1 at strength 1.0, seed 42, 1216×832: "A Southern Pacific EMD SD45 diesel locomotive in gray and scarlet paint with a red nose leads a freight train around a sweeping curve in the Tehachapi Mountains. The number 7408 is on the cab side and the long hood carries no lettering. Dry golden grass covers the hills under a hazy blue sky, and several more locomotives trail behind it."
Prompt format: no trigger word. Describe the photo the way a railfan would caption it: builder
and model (EMD SD40-2, GE ES44AC), railroad and paint colours, road number or reporting marks,
camera angle and setting. For example:
Front three-quarter view of a yellow and gray Union Pacific EMD SD70ACe diesel locomotive leading a long train of gray covered hoppers across open prairie under a clear blue sky.
Strength 1.0 (0.7–0.8 if soft), CFG 3, 50 steps, euler / sgm_uniform, shift 5, ~1 MP landscape. Also works on MOSS-Image-SFT: sharper and better lettering, but glossier.
Limitations: heralds and long lettering are sometimes garbled (short road numbers are reliable); rare look-alike models blend (SW1500, RS-18); coil cars and bulkhead flats are hit-or-miss on Base; output is a little soft at strength 1.0. Steam, passenger and non-North-American equipment are out of scope.

kohya sd-scripts (MOSS-Image), 4070 Super, INT8 + block swap. LoRA rank 64 / alpha 16, AdamW8bit, lr 1e-4 constant, batch 1, 1 MP buckets, one caption (the long MOSS caption) per photo. Planned for 2 passes, stopped at step 5,761 when samples went soft; this is the epoch-1 checkpoint.
