Electron Tomography VAE (ResNet18)

Model Description

This is a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) developed for electron tomography reconstruction as part of a university project.

As per the licensing, the encoder utilizes a ResNet18 architecture provided by torchvision, which has been adapted for feature extraction from tomographic data.

Intended Use

This model is intended for academic research and demonstration purposes. It is designed to run behind a Streamlit web application, allowing users to interactively visualize reconstructed volumes without needing to write code.
