Wearables brings together people curious about the technology we wear — from smartwatches and smart rings to connected sensors and emerging interfaces.
We are building an independent community for users, developers, researchers and designers to explore wearable data, share practical knowledge and create useful tools.
Project status: Getting started. Tools, supported devices and research projects will be documented as they become available. This organization does not currently promise device integrations or a connected health service.
Have an idea for a visualization, a sensor-data experiment or an educational demo? Start a discussion in a relevant repository or Space, describe the problem and share what you would like to contribute.
We welcome different levels of experience. Explain your methods, credit other contributors and respect the licenses of code, models and datasets.
Wearable data can reveal sensitive details about a person's health, routines and location. Please do not publish personal recordings or identifiable data in public discussions or repositories. Prefer synthetic examples for demonstrations; share other data only when you have the necessary rights and consent.
Each project should explain what data it processes, where processing happens, whether anything is stored and what users can control.
Our focus is education, experimentation and practical understanding. Community tools and AI outputs should not be presented as medical diagnoses or substitutes for professional care. Model-based estimates should be distinguished from direct measurements, and validation claims should be supported by evidence.
Wearables is an independent, privately organized initiative. We are not an official representative of any device manufacturer, university or healthcare provider. Any future partnerships will be disclosed explicitly.
