FaceID workflow not respecting optional face reference
It is not replacing the face from the optional photo. Is the headshot supposed to go on the Load image node or the Optional Reference node? Selection setting is set to Other Reference (2). Everything else is left default with the recommended LoRas set.
Yeah this was essentially removed function that worked previously. The comfy update changed model.py and how the rotation was applied and pretty much killed that useful bonus feature. The best I could get it back to was in the recent 1.9.7 update where it has a very slight effect on expression or face structure. I think they changed the functions for something official that they'll release as an IC lora, or for something better that can come out eventually. The whole thing relies on Allisonerd and he'll probably make something better.

Are you saying the current workflow is completely broken on the latest version of ComfyUI? I am using portable v0.29.0, and making changes to the "🧑 LTX Face Identity Reinforcer" node has absolutely no effect.
The workflow and node work now on 1.9.7 they were broken for a bit. The functionality of the additional second reference option took a big hit when they changed model.py though it's basically back to doing all that it was meant to which is protect the frame 0 face identity better.
