GitWorld β€” browser-playable repository world

GitWorld is a static browser game where the simulated repository SNAPKITTYWEST / pax-coder becomes a walkable cyberpunk city. Code is represented by buildings and files, commits are construction events, issues are quests, pull requests are gates, and the three named swarm agents are the construction crew.

Play online

Open the GitWorld game on GitHub Pages

The opening scene, 3099.mp4, and the four Neon Reflections scene plates are packaged into the Pages artifact. No Unreal installation is required to play the browser build.

Run

npm test
npm run build

After the build, open dist/index.html from a local static file viewer. The app uses no backend, runtime API, or CDN dependency; its local opening video and scene plates are copied into dist/phase2-unreal/ReferenceSource/. src/main.ts is intentionally browser-compatible TypeScript-flavored JavaScript so the zero-dependency build can copy it directly to dist/main.js.

Controls

  • WASD or arrow keys: walk
  • Enter / E: inspect the nearest district
  • T: open the terminal phone
  • 1–8: equip a tool
  • Esc: close an overlay
  • Touch arrows: move on small screens

All repository values are simulated and labeled in the interface.
