Same problem here, and still unresolved as of today (22 Sep).
We are a small European software company building a commercial product that does instruction-based image editing. We already run an Apache-2.0 Qwen-Image editing model in production, we have evaluated Qwen-Image-2.1 internally with very good results, and we would like to license it commercially — self-hosted inference plus our own fine-tuned and quantised derivatives, no redistribution, "Built with Qwen" attribution.
Section 2(b) of the Research License points to model-business@notice.qwencloud.com as the only route. Given the reports above that this address bounces, could someone from the Qwen team please confirm:
- Whether model-business@notice.qwencloud.com is monitored, and if not, which address or form is the correct one.
- Roughly what turnaround a commercial licence request should expect.
- Whether a commercially licensed hosted endpoint for Qwen-Image-2.1 is planned.
Happy to move to private email as soon as there is a working address. Thank you for the model — the licence is the only thing standing between it and a production deployment for us.
