Access request

Assalamu alaikum,
I'm Yassine, founder of mssid (mssid.org), a platform for Quran schools (katatib) in Morocco and in the world next and will be useful for personal use as well for families. We integrated your zipformer_p-arabic-v3 model (through Tilawa) so pupils can recite and see their place followed in the mushaf, and teachers get possible-mistake hints. It runs fully on the device, no audio leaves the phone, and it is free on every plan, never behind a payment, in line with NPL-1.2.
My request for access to the training checkpoint was declined. Could you tell me why? I want to be sure our current use is acceptable to you. We wanted the checkpoint to add Warsh, which most Moroccan schools read and which your model was trained without. We would publish any Warsh fine-tune freely under NPL-1.2, and would gladly work with you on it or share our Warsh data.
JazakumAllahu khayran

Wa alaykum assalam Yassine,

We apologize for the initial rejection. When reviewing your request, the affiliation was listed as "Tarteel Warsh", so we mistook it as coming from Tarteel, who has been using multiple accounts to request our models.

Your access request has been approved. Running the model on-device for Moroccan katatib via mssid.org under NPL-1.2 is completely welcome. We would also be glad to receive your Warsh data and discuss collaborating on a Warsh fine-tune under NPL-1.2. Please feel free to reach out directly to Mostafa at mostafa@quranlab.ai with details or data links whenever you are ready.

May Allah bless your work and reward your efforts for the katatib.
