Overall, a great Turbo Lora, but there are some caveats.

I really appreciate what you're trying to do with Parasyte turbo lora. Overall image quality is great, surpassing even deraties combo when using b30. But... I see scan lines in videos with an aspect ratios of 3:4 and 6:19, in the middle to upper third of the image. That's where the faces are usually located in videos. I haven't tested other aspect ratios yet, but I think "they're there too". With weight 5 it's very visible. Lowering to 4 helps, but scan lines are there when you take notice of it. Once you see them, you can't really unsee it anymore. Going below 4 isn't really an option as you'll get degrading image quality. Tested with sa_solver-sgm and -simple, euler-simple, er_sde-sgm. Euler-simple is the worst offender, I think. Tested also with Kijai's new fastvideo vsa and it's the same thing. Worst it is with w4a8 mixed that I use with my laptop with 4070 mobile 8Gb and 32Gb system ram. Can't really use it all with w4a8 mixed, scan lines and image quality degradation are noticeably worse with it. So, deraties combo it is for my laptop. My 5 year old main rig with RTX 3060 12Gb and 64Gb can handle b30 surprisingly well and but I'm not sure if I want to use this version over deraties combo. Maybe you can improve Parasyte lora, I'll sure to test it too. Anyways, great work with the turbo lora. I post some example screenshots of the video that I posted in Civitai. edit: I posted the video too.

this turbo has only been tested with int8 convrot models, and the above does not happen on them.

incoming update, we made a discovery.

Yeah, those were my early impressions. Maybe my assessments were partially wrong? I'm further testing it now. Trying to find better setting. Going up to 6-7 weights didn't help, obviously, but I had to try. You haven't tested it yet with hybrid b30?

After some more testing 3.75–3.80 seems to work for me better than 4.0 in this recipe. Less visible scan lines, but not much though. Going lower than that start to affect audio quality in my testing. But results may differ per checkpoint.

try 1.5 strength, 8 steps, 12/3 shift, er_sde beta57

Yes I did generated it and the result was weird hyper accelerated video and audio, but okay quality, but somehow it ended like it should. It had scan lines in it though, so that was not the solution. Thanks anyway.

This bugs me to no end. I need to know if it's just me. Could you please generate my clip and post it here for comparison? ? My clip uses all default models in V7 workflow except text encoder that is QwenVL 4b with clipproj node inside Main Model Loader subgraph that you need to bypass.

Pass me the prompt and ref image

It's t2v. Download the clip, it has workflow in it.

Wait, I think I found the solution!!! It's about the resolution. I've been using 480x864 a lot. Like in that clip. 448x832 has NO scan lines. 480x896 has scan lines. 512x928 has scan lines. 512x960 has NO scan lines in it. So, either I start using 448x832 or 512x960, or I use 480x864 with two dareties. I choose 448x832 for my laptop's sake. Depending if it doesn't look crap with w4a8 mixed like in my earlier tests suggested. If it looks crap with w4a8, then my lowly 3060 12Gb get more breathing room alone and I continue using dareties combo with my laptop. edit: It does, but without scan lines. No Parasyte for my laptop.

Next I need to test test custom horizontal resolutions that are not divided by 32 and 2:# and 3:4 resolutions. I'm pretty much stuck with vertical videos because of my hardware. I've noticed that anything below 768 vertical looks crap, so 16:9 resolution are pretty much out of my reach. I can do horizontal videos, but I usually leave them for over night generations, because of how long time they take to generate. But is it a bad to try lower vertical resolutions with Parasyte? It's worth a try I guess. If I get anything decent looking lower resolution 16:9 gens, I consider that a win. I will surely let you know. ;)

Yeah, seems that resolution falls in to NO scan lines resolutions. It's funny though how character looks change completely with Minimax H3 when you go for higher resolutions. It's very often too that they have huge breasts and asses with high res. lmao. In that sense I prefer lower resolutions alone.

maybe more to do with checkpoint also, I always use b30 or b25

Yeah, I'm sure it does. I've used w4a8 from beginning and b30 after I found your workflow. w4a8 does that a lot. Like, imagine my surprise when I tried to generate Red Sonja (Marvel) and I got 150kg black ghetto queen in the video. lmao. At least some checkpoints generate random race, age and body type women when it doesn't have a training data of it and then just guess how that character should look like. And I've got bunch of grannies and extreme fatso type ladies many times too lol.

5 seem to work better with x832. Getting better textures on clothing and better hair etc.. I haven't got much out of Parasyte at 1.5 and fasth3_6steps at 0.5 yet. Still running V7. Testing continues.

You can try res multistep simple if you don't have luck
