This is an unmodified mirror of two model files from the buffalo_l pack in deepinsight/insightface's model zoo:

• det_10g.onnx -- SCRFD face detector
• w600k_r50.onnx -- ArcFace face recognition (512-dim embedding)

All credit for training and publishing these models goes to the InsightFace / DeepInsight authors. Nothing here is original work.

Why this mirror exists

obi_dance ("社交舞會照片協尋") is a small non-commercial community tool that runs face recognition in the browser via onnxruntime-web. These two files (~190MB combined) are re-hosted here purely so that browsers loading the tool don't pull that traffic through our own small home-NAS bandwidth -- Hugging Face's CDN supports the cross-origin fetch this needs; GitHub Releases and Google Drive do not. Our own server still hosts a fallback copy for when this mirror is unreachable.

Per the insightface model zoo README:

ALL models are available for non-commercial research purposes only.

This mirror is used and offered under that same restriction. The insightface repository does not carry a separate LICENSE file specific to these model weights; if you need clarification on redistribution rights beyond this notice, please consult the InsightFace project directly.
