Fibo 2.0 Edit β€” IDM 2-Steps (ComfyUI)

ComfyUI-format conversion of akhaliq/Fibo-2.0-edit-IDM-2steps, a LoRA that runs Bria Fibo 2.0 Edit Turbo image editing in 2 steps without CFG. It was trained with a community implementation of Intrinsic Distribution Matching (IDM).

All credit for training goes to the original author. Training details, evals and samples are in the original repo. This repo only changes the file layout so ComfyUI's native Fibo 2 model can load it.

File Format
Fibo-2.0-edit-IDM-2steps_comfy.safetensors ComfyUI LoRA (diffusion_model.*, lora_down/lora_up/alpha), bf16

Usage in ComfyUI

  1. Put the file in ComfyUI/models/loras/.
  2. Load a Fibo 2.0 Edit Turbo checkpoint in ComfyUI's fused layout, for example fibo2_edit_turbo_int8_convrot.safetensors or fibo2_edit_turbo_bf16.safetensors from Comfy-Org/Fibo-2.0.
  3. Apply the LoRA with LoraLoaderModelOnly at strength 1.0.
  4. Sample with 2 steps and CFG 1.0.

What the conversion changes

The original LoRA uses the diffusers layer names. ComfyUI's Fibo 2 model fuses several of those layers:

diffusers (original) ComfyUI
attention.to_q / to_k / to_v attention.qkv
attention.to_out.0 attention.out
cross_attention.to_k / to_v, self_attention.to_k / to_v to_kv
cross_attention.to_out.0, self_attention.to_out.0 to_out
feed_forward.w1 / w3, ffn.w1 / w3 w13

Fused layers get one LoRA whose rank is the sum of its parts (192 for qkv, 128 for to_kv and w13), with block-diagonal up weights. Alpha is set to that rank, so the scale stays 1.0 like the original (r=64, Ξ±=64). ComfyUI's checkpoint pads the FFN hidden width from 9536 to 9728 with zeros, and the LoRA is zero-padded to match. All other layers are renamed only.

The merged weight deltas match the original exactly, so the file is larger than the original (797 MB vs. 539 MB) only because of the zero blocks. The conversion script is included as convert_fibo2_lora.py.

This file does not fit Fibo 2 checkpoints that keep w1/w3 (or to_q/to_k/to_v) as separate layers. Use the original diffusers LoRA for those and for the diffusers pipeline.
