This model generates energy-efficient hourly LED lighting schedules (0-100%) that ensure plants receive sufficient Daily Light Integral (DLI ≥ 17 mol/m²/d) while minimizing electricity costs.
The model follows a specific algorithm:
- Calculates natural DLI from input PPFD values
- Determines supplemental lighting needs
- Allocates LED intensity to the cheapest electricity hours
- Outputs a complete 24-hour schedule in JSON format
