Best way to avoid fading from chunk to chunk?

First off, great work! I've had some wonderful results from playing around with this.
From time to time I hit a wall with new generations that struggle to maintain edits without fading from one chunk into the next. Is there something I am doing wrong or need to better consider to improve upon that?
Also, while I'm here... I see you've built the workflow around res_2s / beta. I've also had really positive success from lcm / beta57. Any other combinations you've had success with? Thanks!
