Magnum vs Gutenberg?
There seem to be fundamental differences that shift the advantage in the active use of modern vocabulary and emotional context to one side.
In general, I am more interested in creative translation, but fine-tuning on literary data should increase the model's creativity in any case.
Additionally, Magnum seems to have been created by copying Claude's style and is free from censorship, allowing it to write violent scenes, thrillers, dramas, and adult content (ERP/NSFW) without any issues, without attempting to lecture on morality.
Gutenberg is characterized by its rich vocabulary. It uses rare idioms, complex syntactic structures, and... archaisms. If you want to write a gothic novel, a Victorian detective story, or a historical chronicle, it might not be a bad idea. However, what about contemporary literature and online slang? Magnum uses modern artistic language. Its modern vocabulary is more extensive, and the model will not use words that were out of use 150 years ago unless you explicitly request it.
