Request for reconsideration of SAM-Audio checkpoint access
Hi Meta SAM-Audio team,
My request to access facebook/sam-audio-large was rejected, but I am not sure what information was missing or what caused the rejection.
I would like to request reconsideration. My intended use is to evaluate SAM-Audio for extracting noise from audio/speech recordings. Specifically, I plan to use the checkpoint for local inference to separate background noise or other unwanted acoustic sources from speech/audio, and to compare the separated target and residual outputs in a research or engineering workflow.
This use is non-commercial. I will use the checkpoint only for local inference and evaluation, will not redistribute the model weights, and will comply with the SAM license and any Hugging Face/Meta usage requirements.
If additional information such as affiliation, research purpose, or identity verification is required, I would be happy to provide it.
