FLUX.1 DEV: Non-Commercial License

The DEV variant is released under a custom FLUX Non-Commercial License (NCL). It is designed for "Open Weights" access but strictly limits how you can make money from it.

Key Permissions & Restrictions

Personal Use: You can run it locally for fun or personal projects.

Research & Education: It is fully available for academic and non-profit research.

No Commercial Deployment: You cannot use these weights in a "Model-as-a-Service" (like a paid API) or any application that generates revenue.

Attribution Required: If you redistribute the model or derivatives (for non-commercial use), you must include a "Notice" file attributing it to Black Forest Labs.

Commercial Scaling: If you want to use the DEV model for a business, BFL offers Builder or Enterprise licenses that grant commercial rights for a fee (usually based on image volume or user count).
