About Us

The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Secure Systems (IRC-ISS) is an advanced research hub established at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) to drive innovation at the intersection of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI). We bring together faculty, students, and researchers across multiple disciplines to design and implement systems that are both highly intelligent and rigorously secure.

Our Vision & Mission

To play a leading role in tackling grand challenges related to the design and development of intelligent security systems, secure intelligent systems, and systems that are intelligent and secure from the point of view of both physical security and cyber security.

Research

Research affiliates at IRC-ISS tackle complex problems to safeguard digital infrastructure and advance intelligent systems. The center focuses its efforts across three primary research areas:

• Resilient Cyberinfrastructure: Ensuring the stability, defense, and resilience of critical digital networks and infrastructures.
