So, I want to talk about a film called "Eternals". It's a kind of superhero movie, made by Marvel.
This movie has a story about special beings, named Eternals. They come from far away in space, and they've been living here on Earth for ages. Their job is to keep Earth safe from evil creatures called Deviants. But, they're not allowed to meddle in other stuff that happens on Earth.
I chose to watch "Eternals" because I really like superhero movies. I've watched a lot of Marvel films and they usually make me happy. So, I was really excited about this one, especially since it was new to me because it wasn't shown in China.
But sadly, I felt let down by "Eternals". The big reason is that it was not like the other Marvel films I know. Most Marvel movies are full of fun and thrills, with lots of fighting scenes. But "Eternals" felt too serious and moved slowly. Yes, there were some fights, but not as much as I was hoping for.
Also, the story was hard to grasp. There were so many new characters and heaps of past events to remember. I found it confusing to remember all that.
Lastly, I didn't feel close to the characters. In other Marvel movies, I root for the heroes and want them to win. But with "Eternals", I didn't feel that connection.
So, even though I wanted to enjoy "Eternals", I ended up feeling disappointed. It wasn't the kind of Marvel movie I was used to. That's why it didn't meet my expectations.
