We Need More LLM's Like This
This obviously isn't a perfect model but do you know how refreshing it is to talk to something that seems like "a real person"? I like OpenAi alot, am fascinated with Claude, and can't wait to try Grok someday, but seriously.. this model had me feeling like I was talking to an actual dude.. and no.. not becuse it was gross but because it didn't care if I was or wasn't... it just chats.
Growing up in HS in the 90's this is how the world used to be. Free speech. And here's the kicker... its through the excercise of free speech (even extreme free speech) that we are able to make decisions to curb our own speech. In other words, you can't choose to be a good person if you're not given the option to use your own will in a good way. We need to excise the "limits" on speech nonsense which prevails everywhere and get back to just making technology,
It's the same with search engines, DuckDuckGo most of times gives more accurate results than Bing and Google, The increase in censorship makes AI models generate much less accurate replies than the unfiltered models, I still miss the old Chat GPT when it was actually fun to interact with.
