Dear Huggingface Stuff and The Community:

This is a hugging face space for our paper "Metric3Dv2: A Versatile Monocular Geometric Foundation Model for Zero-shot Metric Depth and Surface Normal Estimation" under review. Different from previous work like DepthAnything or Marigold, our method can output zero-shot【metric (or scale-aware)】 depth directly, along with a surface normal map.

We deployed a CPU version of the application 2 months ago, which is too slow. (3~4 minutes for inference once). We would gratefully appreciate it if Hugging Face could provide a GPU device for the Metric3D project. Our project page is now available at "https://jugghm.github.io/Metric3Dv2/"

Hi @JUGGHM , we have assigned a gpu to this space. Note that GPU Grants are provided temporarily and might be removed after some time if the usage is very low.

BTW, it seems that your model weights are in this Space repo, but can you create a separate model repo and fill a model card like this? It would make it easier for users to find and download your model.

I will do that. But I am a freshman in HuggingFace usage, so it might take some time...
