AOM3 (abyss orange mix 3) and counterfeit 2.5 checkpoint models basically ship with the same VAE embedded... and its basically broken. Faded and washed out. That could be considered an aesthetic choice, except sometimes, purple dots appear. So seems more like a bug than a choice.
Oddly enough, there is a top level VAE file in https://huggingface.co/gsdf/Counterfeit-V2.5/tree/main, that is not mentioned in the readme at all. It seems oddly broken and bloated, since it is 800MB in size, and its a pickletensor file. However, it seems to actually work really well.
So here is that file, converted to safetensor format (which somehow also reduced it to 300MB in size)
