Open Hermes was already one of the best Mistrals, but this gave it polish by making the responses more human like (e.g. introduced a list of results vs just starting a list).
In addition, language skills were notably improved across the board. For example, it not only told better stories, but said stories better adhered to the directives in long and convoluted story prompts.
