License clarity, please.
This model has a line in the license: "a. You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable and royalty-free limited license under Alibaba Cloud's intellectual property or other rights owned by Us embodied in the Materials to use, reproduce, distribute, copy, create derivative works of, and make modifications to the Materials FOR NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES ONLY."
However the corresponding github repo says:
"Check the license of each model inside its HF repo. It is NOT necessary for you to submit a request for commercial usage."
Can the 1.8B model be used commercially or not?

I think it means that whether you need to submit a request for commerical usage depends on the license of the model inside its HF repo.
For this model, according to its license, you cannot use it commercially. Should you need a commerical license, please contact qianwen_opensource@alibabacloud.com
