NoPattern Studio is the creative practice of multidisciplinary artist, designer & creative director Chuck Anderson, established in 2004. Chuck is acclaimed for his use of surreal color and light, innovative juxtapositions of traditional and digital mediums, and constant experimentation within both his own art practice as well as client collaborations, as well as co-founding early internet culture blog THE BRILLIANCE! with Benjamin Edgar and Virgil Abloh in 2005.
Chuck released CRASH REPORT, a self-published book in 2019, containing a year's worth of experimental, exploratory 3D imagery generated entirely in Photoshop. The concept behind the book deals with our relationship to working creatively with imperfect technology and learning to embrace errors and interruptions.
This NoPattern Model, a fine-tuned version of Stability.ai, allows users to take Chuck’s CRASH REPORT art and type in what they think they see in the shapes and colors - find the pattern you think you see in his work.
This digital Rorschach model will then infer its own version of these inputs, modeled after the original CRASH REPORT artwork.
