Chat prompt without available tools

Hello, Is it possible to feed a chat prompt without specifying available tools to the model? How would the model react to such a prompt? Thanks a lot!
We haven’t exhaustively tested the model behavior when not providing any tools. Have you tried? Did you get unexpected results?
