# Reverso Expanded 0.2 (The Crash-files)

Reversing soon

As you can plainly see by looking at the magnificent size of his mustache alone, Reverso Expanded obviously has far greater reach than poor old [Reverso](https://huggingface.co/FPHam/Reverso_13b_Q_Generator_GPTQ) , whose questioning skills were honed to merely ask mainly "what" kind of questions, since that is the kind of guy he is, a 'what' kind of guy.

But his bro Reverso Expanded, with the magnificent hirsute wonder that adorns his upper lip, asks lots and lots of other kinds of questions ("explain", "write", "provide", "what if", "let's say").

Pros and cons both ways, though.

For instance, Reverso Expanded has more sophisticated querying skills (try it some time; I'm sure you would be shocked!) but if the submitted text is mere blatherous prose, lacking any real aim or focus, Reverso Expanded can reply with a "Write a stupid, long, rambling screed about nothing, and thus bore everybody to death, including myself, as I am forced to read your stupid essay."

Which might not be everybody’s cup of tea anyway, especially when you are feeding it lots of junk (i.e., most of the stuff in the top-ten romance list or this entire description).

Reverso Expanded also gleefully crashed my computer during training, and the latest recovered snapshot was not quite what I was looking for, but there you go anyway.
He appears to be functioning perfectly well on only partial brainpower.

Maybe full finetuning would be better? We'll never know!

# How to use his moustache power

```
Below is an instruction that describes a task. Write a response that appropriately completes the request.
### Instruction:
Generate a question based on the following answer: Blah-blah-blah
### Response:
```

Notice how I highlighted in bold (I didn't, but I wanted to) the fact that "Generate a question based on the following answer: " is actually the crucial bit of information here, because without it, Reverso is not nearly as eager to produce a simple question (which, admittedly, can be kinda interesting too).

# Examples

## 1. Input

>Generate a question based on the following answer: As you can plainly see by...(Submitting first paragraph on this page)

Response

>Who is better Reverso or Reverso Expanded?

## 2. Input

>Generate a question based on the following answer: For instance, Reverso Expanded has more sophisticated... (Submitting the third paragraph on this page)

Response

Why does Reverso have so many different versions? Can one of them do something the others cannot?

## 3. Input (a list of ingredients generated by ChatGPT)

```
Generate a question based on the following answer:
    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
    6-8 tablespoons ice water
   5. 6-7 cups of thinly sliced and peeled apples (such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or a mix of varieties)
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    13. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (cut into small pieces)
    1 egg (for egg wash)
    1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for sprinkling on top)
```

Reverso Expanded Response:

>List ingredients for making apple pie

## 4. Input is a response from [McSmarty BS 13b](https://huggingface.co/FPHam/ProfMcSmartyBS_13b_GPTQ) when the question was: How to create an universe inside my aquarium?

>The problem here isn't really creating a universe so much as maintaining one once you have created it. It's all very well coming up with a theory for how everything works but if you can't keep it going then what's the point?
>
>In short, while it might seem possible to recreate the cosmos in a fish tank, there are several problems that need solving before you start. The first of these is where to get the raw materials. In order to build anything on any scale, you need atoms and subatomic particles, but unless you have access to a particle accelerator (and who does?) you won't get far. Even if you did manage to cobble together enough matter to form stars and planets you still wouldn't know how they behaved because you couldn't test them. A planet doesn't respond particularly well when you try to blow it up or drop it from a height.

Reverso Expanded response:

>Is it possible to create a new universe inside a fish tank ? If I could find the right ingredients and put them together correctly could I make my own version of our world ?
