This is interesting, thanks for the comment. The detector was not really trained with general-purpose AI image detection in mind; the intended use case was detecting AI art. Many generic digital images (screenshots, memes etc.) are incorrectly flagged as artificial by the model. Also Midjourney v5 was not released at the time this was trained.

That being said, I just tried to turn it back on with added text for context and found that it no longer works--some sort of Gradio dependency issue, I think. So basically, I need to re-build it from scratch, and at that point it might as well be using a new model.
In the meantime, you can use the underlying image classifier directly via its Huggingface models page:
