Answer:

There are a few other options you should also look into. They might provide alternatives to the solutions you currently have.


  1. Use an herbicide.

An herbicide such as Roundup will kill the llama and his relatives, and won’t harm you or your family. (Unless you ingest or inhale a large enough amount. Then, be aware it could have an impact on your health.)

  1. Put some water into a large empty container. Let the llama drink the water, and leave.

Llamas, like humans, cannot swim. So in theory this is a nice option. If the llama comes out of the water after drinking all he can hold, you can try to entice him with food. Otherwise, you might want to leave him and leave him to his own means to go away and never return.

  1. If you have another dog that won’t come close to the llama, call it back to you.
