Can llamas fly?

There are a few other related questions on this site, but none that I’ve seen specifically address the question. It seems like most people don’t know if it is possible for llamas to fly or not - at least in this world and culture.
One post suggests they could be trained as carrier pigeons – which would mean that someone was looking into whether or not they could fly before doing so (see Is there an evidence of animals being used as messengers by humans). The other post mentions a magical ability to do what they claim; again suggesting someone had already done some testing to see if it were true.
I doubt any of these reports are completely accurate since all of them state “some say” or “it was rumored”; however I think its fair to assume those who claimed their llama flew did so because they actually thought he could, rather than just making up such a story to impress others.
Therefore my best guess is yes, llamas can fly! They might even have evolved with the ability without us knowing about it. Personally I prefer to believe we
