How to enter image normalization numbers?

Hey, anybody here? I see that MiDaS has .5.5.5 / .5.5.5 default Normalize set for most of the models.
Is there a formula to enter a better set of variables? I tried a few ways with interesting results. By adding the numbers from ViT CLIP model or using the formula (rgb[x]-127.5)/127.5)/127.5).. But, they don't do as well as the default .5,.5,.5
