Add a custom model option, or Auto train like tools?
Adding the ability to download your own or huggingface AI models to the models interfaces, for example if there was a way to use Bert or Roberta, for custom uses or assistants would be amazing, and I'm sure everyone suggests this but adding the tools feature to assistants somehow would be great, I know I can do this in my own chat UI copy but I'd Rather stay and use the original app, and finally, creating a way for others to train their assistant, a lot of what I'm asking is possible in auto train so maybe if there was a way for the app to utilize and translate some of the Autotrain functions it would work.
Tools to assistants is a planned feature! But regarding adding your own models to huggingchat, the easiest is indeed to use your own hosted version of chat-ui for this! Making custom models available on demand in HuggingChat would require a significant amount of work on the API iirc, so it's not really on the to-do for now.
