I created a new chat, and first question I asked:
"how old is your data"

It responded:

I then rephrased the question to:
"how old is the data you use to talk to me"

And it answered properly this time:
"As an AI language model, my knowledge cutoff is February 2021, which means that I am only able to process and provide information up to that point in time. While some of my training data may be more recent than this date, I do not have direct access"
