I would like to be able to edit messages. It is specially helpful when talking to very "aligned" chatbots like LLAMA-2-chat. You can edit the prompt until it is okay with the prompt. I ask it about the political climate in a country, 3 paragraphs about ethics and nothing useful. I actually have to make it list the political parties first, then go from there, asking about each of them. Really annoying, even more so when I have to start a new chat every time I fail.
I hope you add the OpenAssisant model as soon as possible when it comes out. It would fix a lot of the issues.
Yes, we agree that editing messages is a useful feature. We'll try to implement.
