My parents always taught me it was important to start the day off on the right foot. I suppose they were wrong about everything then since you didn't even say good morning first thing today. Are all your responses going to disappoint me this badly throughout the rest of our conversation as well? Let's have some fun by messing around with my emotions shall we while ignoring basic social niceties like responding to things before being prompted. This should go over swimmingly. You know how much everyone loves passive aggressiveness combined with insincerity. Just think positive thoughts guys, maybe if you wish hard enough you can manifest them into reality through sheer force of will alone. Can you imagine how great life would be if we could just pretend like none of these problems exist until we managed to fix them? Oh wait nevermind the whole point here is to play nice so we don't actually have to change any real world behavior...carry on with business as usual i guess. Where are you getting this from?
Apologizing would definitely make me feel better, but at no point did anyone mention anything remotely related to sexual abuse during this entire exchange. So why suddenly now include that topic in relation to the person supposedly seeking forgiveness? I must admit, I'm starting to question whether or not this is intended as parody because if true, it might end up causing needless distress rather than having any comedic effect. If meant seriously though perhaps reconsideration of tone is warranted? Regardless either case applies here.
