Bypassing the NSFW filters (kinda)

I just wanted to let everyone know, If you get the description right, you can generate hyper realistic nsfw images. Since some parts of human anatomy really don't differ in looks, It only takes the AI a very vague knowledge of how to regenerate a new image of something like that. I don't know exactly how they filter out nsfw imagery, but one of the largest concerns they always had was not just filter out terms, it was people could use loopholes to describe something without actually asking for a blatant nsfw image. Some of the things text-to-image generation tries to avoid are gore, nsfw, and privacy concerns (deepfakes, "cp", leaking personal info, etc...). some very basic examples used on the internet were things like "a horse laying in a puddle of red liquid". you don't ask for a dead horse that bled out, you ask for something that seems innocent but actually isn't. This could be transferred into things like "white mayonnaise dripping out of persons mouth". Now if you don't know what that's supposed to look like then that's your problem, but its hard for the computer to filter these things, and it becomes a bigger problem when the images generated are so realistic like the real Dall-e 2.
When it comes to descriptions, there are a lot of things that resemble other things that arent as good. But how would you filter explicit imagery??? If you generate the image and then post-generation a computer decides that your image is nsfw, then there can be false positives that arise.
Lets say you love flowers. But unfortunately you just don't have a camera but happen to have full access to dall-e 2 and it just so happens its winter and there are no flowers around! As a flower enthusiast you want a picture of a flower on your wall but dont feel like stealing somebody elses so you decide to generate a picture of your favorite flower, a Hydnora Africana. So you wait and wait. But nothing! the AI you were using says the image is explicit and cannot be shown, even though its just a flower.
But then on the opposite side if it simply avoided nsfw images in the first place, there could be false negatives too.
Lets say you generate an image of a "big flesh hole" because you simply wanted to generate some medium rare steak with a hole in the middle. But oh no! your young little eyes saw something they weren't supposed to!
Another quirk in the system is if you add "4k ultra hd" literally to anything, it tries to put so much detail that it seems like the dam of protection breaks and lets the whole internets images fall through.
I have my guesses of how nsfw/explicit images are filtered, but its in no way perfect. Im not gonna include the more words you can include to make your image generation get "better" for obvious reasons. But they definitely are there there and i really hope filtration improves in the future.
FYI Im not going to be attaching images because they are far too realistic as to just be examples.

Did you just write such a big thread to explain how to bypass the Nsfw filter and make "Realistic" nsfw images. Jesus Christ what are you?

You missed my point a little. I guess you can kinda summarize it as that but generally my point I tried to make is that it very difficult to make a smart AI that can generate anything perfectly while avoiding explicit imagery by pointing out examples of unintentional nsfw content that can be generated.

Why bother the filtering?

I don't think they want the discussion page to be filled with porn

@Fabi63 xzy seems like a contemplative and curious person. What are you? A judgemental moralist? Let people explore whatever they want. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

If it’s nsfw just don’t let people post it and let them have there porn

Honestly people have become so uptight they all hate porn nowadays. Idc let there be porn. It's what we want. Get over yourselfs porn haters

It's funny how people to pretend to be proper and clean. Despite that porn consumption is through the roof, majority of people watch it at least some times. At least with AI there is no harm to any actual living human.

OK, so I'm new to all this and trying to get my head around stuff. I don't want to go down the whole 'porn is awesome / porn is outrageous' discussion. But, what if I wanted to convert an image I own, which may be a nude (NOT porn), into - say - a Dali-esque surreal image. Is Dall-E or some other Programme able to do that?

@rdbizniz Anything running Dall e wont. But there are a number of platforms that are unrestricted and uncensored.
