Can dall-e be pointed at a specific reference set of images?

But using the same text as a "subject detail" field doesn't yield satisfactory results.
Am I better off trying to find a set of adjectives that describe what I like about the linked images, or can I feed those images back to Dall-E as a reference? How would I do so? Thank you.
