Do Blade Runners dream of Philip K. Dick?
As most of you already know: The movie Blade Runner was based on the novel Do Androids dream of electric sheep by Philip K. Dick
I had some fun making prompts on that theme.
Oho! Plural form of Runner calls up Wesley Snipes with his kind of Blade, but here comes Harrison Ford:
A Ford but no Dick?? Mr. Philip K. Dick on stage, please!
"Mr. Philip K. Dick, welcome to the show! Sir, please allow this question: What is an electric sheep?"
"Well, I'd roughly sketch it like this..." ( starts drawing )
"Hmm, I see..." (Interviewer looks foolish)
And, did you ever dream about them?"
"Quite often, I would say. Last sunday night, I had this dream:"
"and, before you ask, my androids dream of them like this:"
"Hmmmmm, AAAIIII see..." (Interviewer looks foolish again) "One last question, Sir! What do you really dislike?"
"I'm really upset because Google stole the word Android from us Sci-Fi writers and gave it a totally different meaning!
I hte it, and here is my revenge:"
"Hehe, I really like the top left one, where this ugly green Google 'bot is shown as a sheep in underpants!"
"Mr. Dick, thank you very much for this interview!"
Edit: I took the liberty to exchange / add / re-arrange some pics to be more consistent with the interview plot.
Android to sheep: "Beep! I calculate a 99.5% probability for KingKitty making a joke about dicks here."
Sheep to android: "Now that's nothing new. We sheep must endure a lot of jokes about sheep and dicks these days."
Android to sheep: "Beep, beep! Does not compute!"
Banana, thanks for putting the discussion back on the proper track; it was running astray.
Very funny, my friend...very funny, indeed.
For you have proven to be my better with your rapier-like wit.
Now, I so humbly offer you an electric sheep, as requested, sire:
